In the Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act 22 of 1964), in section 2, after sub-section (4), the 4 following shall be inserted, namely:- “(5) “Commissioner” means the Regional Commissioner or other Officer appointed to perform the duties of the Commissioner under this Act.”
