Section 62: Licence to be granted In the name of licensee

(1) License shall be granted exclusively in the name of the licensee and shall not be transferable. No licence shall be re-issued when its term has expired or be endorsed for a continuance of the term. At the expiry of the period for which a licence is granted, the licensee shall, if a licence is still required, apply for a fresh licence. The expired licence shall be stamped or endorsed as ‘cancelled’.
(2) The conditions, if any, under which a licence is granted shall be clearly intimated to the licensee when it is issued.
