Cheques in payment of pay bills shall be drawn for the net amounts payable. When a pay bill is paid by a cheque, separate crossed cheque in favour of the Treasury Officer or bank or concerned institution shall be sent for the deductions made such as insurance premium, provident fund subscription, etc., along with the necessary statements.
