Section 25: Restriction on use of force against inmate

(1) In dealting with an inmate, no officer shall use more force than what is necessary. No officer shall act in a manner calculated to Provoke or annoy an inmate.
(2) If the Superintendent is satisfied that the behaviour of an inmate is such that in the interest of his own training or for the good of the other inmates he should be temporarily romoved from the normal community life, he may order the removal of the inmate from his house for a limited period.
The inmate so removed may be accummodated in a separate room under such restriction regarding association and privileges as the Superintendent may consider necessary.
