Section 55: Holidays

The Mysore Borstal School Rules, 1969.State Rules of Karnataka · 1964

The School shall observe as general holiday all Sundays the following namely:-

(i) New year’s day

(ii) Republic day

(iii) Mahasivarathri

(iv)Lunar New years day

(v) Independence Day

(vi)Ganesha Chathurhi

(vii)Gandhi Jayanthi

(viii) Mahalaya Amavasya

(ix) Ayudha Pooja

(x) Last day of Moharam

(xi) Christmas day.

(xii) Deepavali

(xiii) Gokulashtami

(xiv) Ramzan Id

(xv) Bakrid
