Section 93: Facilities for public servants on election duty

The Karnataka Panchayat Raj (Conduct of Election) (Amendment) Rules, 2010.State Rules of Karnataka · 1993

(1) The provisions of rule 92 shall not apply to any person who produces at the polling station an election duty certificate in Form 20 and seeks permission to cast his vote at that polling station although it is different from the one where he is entitled to vote.

(2) On production of such certificate, the presiding officer shall,- 10410

(a) obtain thereon, the signature of the person producing it;

(b) have the person’s name and electoral roll number as mentioned in the certificate entered at the end of the marked copy of the electoral roll; and

(c) permit him to cast his vote in the same manner as an elector is entitled to vote at that polling station.
