In the Schedule III to the said rules, under sub Fee to be collected from students at the time of Admission (Annual Fees)”, fo the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- «Ò∏Â√¿Ê , ±ÀPÀ ªÀµÀð 1940) , Shaka Varsha 1940) £ÀA. 127 No. 127 9 University Education (Academic, Registration, aid etc.,) (Amendment) Rules, 2018 was published as required by section (1) of section 145 of the Karnataka Education Act, 1983 (Karnataka Act 1 of 1995) in 4A of the Karnataka Gazette September 2018 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected of its publication in the official Gazette.

And whereas the objections and suggestions received within the period specified above, have section (1) of the section 145 of the Karnataka Education Act, 1983 (Karnataka Act 1 of 1995),the Government of Karnataka hereby
(1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Pre-University aid etc.,) (Amendment)
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.
University Education (Academic, aid etc.,) Rules, 2006(hereinafter referred to as the said Schedule II”, the words and In the Schedule III to the said rules, under sub-heading “B.
Fee to be collected from students at the time of Admission (Annual Fees)”, for serial number 3 and 2
3. Tuition Fees i) Govt. PU colleges Rs.670.00 To be remitted to the Treasury.
ii) Private Unaided PU colleges Rs.1330.00 To be remitted to the College account.
iii) Private Aided PU Colleges Rs.1330.00 Fifty percent to be remitted to the Treasury;
Fifty percent to be remitted to the College account.
Explanation.- Notwithstanding anything in the above schedule, the fees (Annual fees) collected from students by the private un-aided Pre-University Colleges shall be deposited by the institutions in the official bank account of the college, maintained and utilized for and in a manner as per guidelines issued by the Pre-University Education Department from time to time the fees also shall be notified by the Government from time to time.
