Section 13: Teaching hours and hours of teaching for Day and Evening Pre-University colleges

(1) Every Arts, Commerce and language subjects shall be taught for a minimum of four hours per week per section. Every Science subject shall be taught for a minimum of five hours per week per section including two hours practical and the students shall be required to do experiments in the laboratories for two hours per subject per week. Mathematics subject shall be taught for a minimum of five hours per week per section.

(2) Every Pre-University College shall work for atleast two hundred and twenty days in an academic year.
