Section 17: Cognizance of offences

The Karnataka Regulation of Stone Crushers Ordinance, 2011State Ordinance of Karnataka · No. 8 of 2012

(1) No court shall take cognizance of an offence punishable under this Ordinance or any rules made thereunder except upon complaint in writing made by a person authorized in this behalf by the Licensing Authority.

(2) No court below the Judicial Magistrate first class shall try any offence punishable under this Ordinance.
