Section 1: Short title and commencement

The Karnataka Reservation of Appointments or Posts (in the Civil Services of the State) for Rural Candidates Act, 2000State Act of Karnataka · Act 1 of 2001

(1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Reservation of Appointments or Posts (In the Civil Services of the State) for Rural Candidates Act, 2000.

(2)It shall come into force on such 1[date]1 as the Government may by notification appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act.
