If any difficulty arises, in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the Government may by order, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, remove the difficulty:
Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the commencement of this Act.

Whereas, it is expedient to amend the Karnataka Guarantee of Services to Citizens Act, 2011 (Karnataka Act 1 of 2012) for the purposes hereinafter appearing;
Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the sixty third year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Guarantee of Services to Citizens (Amendment) Act, 2012.
(2) It shall come into force with effect from the 2nd day of April, 2012.
Sections 1 and 10 incorporated in Principal Act,
2. Amendment of title.- In the Karnataka Guarantee of Services to Citizens Act, 2011 (Karnataka Act 1 of 2012) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the title "THE KARNATAKA GUARANTEE OF SERVICES TO CITIZENS ACT, 2011", the title "THE KARNATAKA SAKAALA SERVICES ACT, 2011" shall be substituted.
3. Amendment of section 1.- In section 1 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), for the words, punctuation and figures "The Karnataka Guarantee of Services to Citizens Act, 2011", the words, punctuation and figures "The Karnataka Sakaala Services Act, 2011" shall be substituted.
4. Amendment of section 10.- In section 10 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), for the words "Group B officer", the words "Group B or C Officer" shall be substituted.

BOREGOWDA Secretary to Government, Department of Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation 9 KARNATAKA ACT NO. 31 OF 2014 (First Published in the Karnataka Gazette Extra-ordinary on the sixth day of September, 2014) THE KARNATAKA SAKAALA SERVICES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2014 (Received the assent of the Governor on the second day of September, 2014) An Act further to amend the Karnataka Sakaala Services Act, 2011.
Whereas, it is expedient to amend the Karnataka Sakaala Services Act, 2011 (Karnataka Act 1 of 2012) for the purposes hereinafter appearing;
Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the sixty-fifth year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Sakaala Services (Amendment) Act, 2014.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
Sections 7, 9, 11, 14 are Incorporated in the Principal Act.
