Section 1: Short title and Commencement

The Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Promotion, Pay and Pension) Act, 1973State Act of Karnataka · Act 11 of 1974

(1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 State Civil Services (Regulation of Promotion, Pay and Pension) Act 1973.

1. Substituted by Act 40 of 1976 and by Act 25 of 1982 w.e.f. 11.4.1974.

(2) This section and sections 2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and section 12 shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of November, 1956 and the remaining sections shall come into force at once.
