Karnataka State Civil Services(Regulation of Transfer of Teachers) Rules, 2020.State Rules of Karnataka · 2007

The Competent Authority for transfer of teachers including those occupying equivalent posts shall be as specified in the Table below,- TABLE Category of Teachers Competent Authority Transfer within the District Transfer outside the district Primary School Teacher including Head Deputy Director of Public Instruction (Administration)

(1) For transfer within same Division:

Concerned Divisional Joint Director 3 Note:The Commissioner of Public Instructions or any other officer notified by the Governmentshall be the ‘Transfer Process Controlling Officer’ for transfer of categories of teachers specified in the Table above including those occupying equivalent posts.
