If, any competent authority makes or any Government servant makes an order of posting or appointment or transfer in contravention of the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder, such competent authority or the Government servant as the case may be, shall be liable for disciplinary action under the relevant disciplinary rules applicable to such civil servant.
