Any officer or official who has been transferred shall handover the charge of the present post within one week from the date of the order as per the directions of the controlling officer and get relived immediately. Similarly anyone posted to a new post shall take charge of that post within one week after handing over the charge of the present post excluding the joining time. Non-compliance with these time lines shall be deemed to be disobedience to the lawful orders of the Competent Authority.
