Section 66: Appointment to part-time post

The Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University Ordinance, 2016State Ordinance of Karnataka · No. 16 of 2016

(1) There shall be a Selection Committee for selecting persons for appointment as part-time Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors in the University. The Selection Committee shall consist of-

(i) the Vice Chancellor –Chairperson;

(ii) Director of Training, Publication and Supervision of all schools or the Director, Centre for Research, Innovation and Evaluation; if available;

(iii) the Registrar – who shall be the Member Secretary;

(2) The quorum for a meeting of the Selection Committee shall be two.

(3) No part time appointment shall be made for any period exceeding one year at a time.
