Section 6: Appointment of the members of the staff

The Karnataka Toddy Workers' Welfare Fund Act, 1981State Act of Karnataka · Act 31 of 1984

(1) The State Government may appoint a Chief Welfare Fund Inspector and as many Welfare Fund Inspectors as they consider necessary to assist the Chief Welfare Fund Inspector in the discharge of his duties. The Chief Welfare Fund Inspector shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Board.

(2) The Board may with the previous approval of the State Government appoint such staff as it may consider necessary.

(3) The methods of recruitment, salary and allowances, discipline and other conditions of service of the Chief Welfare Fund Inspector and the Welfare Fund Inspectors shall be such as may be specified by the State Government and the method of recruitment, salary and allowances, discipline and other conditions of service of the staff appointed by the Board shall be such as may be specified by the Board with the previous approval of the State Government.
