The State Government may, without prejudice to the provisions of this Act, if it considers it so necessary and expedient, by notification, take such measures, which may be necessary for the smooth transfer of the existing University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) to the University, including with respect to students who are currently pursuing their education in UVCE.
