Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board Act, 1973State Act of Karnataka · Act 25 of 1974

(1) This Act may be called the 1[Karnataka]1 Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board Act, 1973.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of 1[Karnataka]1 other than the City of Bangalore.

1. Adopted by the Karnataka adoptation of laws order 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973.

(3) It shall come into force on such 1[date]1 as the State Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas.

1. Act came into force on 15.10.1974.
