Every Director of the Board nominated under sub-section (3) of section 6, the Chief Welfare Fund Inspector and every Welfare Fund Inspector and other officers and employees of the Board appointed under sub section (1) of section 9 shall be deemed to be public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act, 45 of 1860).
