Section 19: Restriction on assignment, alienation etc., of interest of member in the Fund

The Kerala Advocates' Clerks Welfare Fund Act, 2003State Act of Kerala · Act 27 of 2003

(1) The interest or the right of a member of the Fund or his nominee or legal heirs to receive any amount from the Fund, shall not be assigned, alienated or charged.

(2) No creditor shall be entitled to proceed against the Fund or the interest therein of any member of the Fund or his nominee or legal heirs.

Explanation.— For the purpose of this section "creditor" includes the State, or official assignee or official receiver appointed under the law relating to insolvency for the time being in force.
