Section 6: Resignation by nominated member of the Committee and filling up of casual vacancies

The Kerala Advocates' Clerks Welfare Fund Act, 2003State Act of Kerala · Act 27 of 2003

(1) Any member nominated under clause (e) of sub-section (3) of section 4 may resign his office by giving one month notice in writing to the Chairman of the Committee and from the date of acceptance of resignation by the Chairman, he shall be deemed to have vacated his office.

(2) Any casual vacancy in the office of a member referred to in sub-section (1) shall be filled up, as soon as may be and a member so nominated to fill such vacancy shall hold office only for the remaining portion of the term of his predecessor.
