Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Arthapalisa, Jenmibhogam and Karathilchilavu(Abolition)act 2007State Act of Kerala · Act 30 of 2007

(1) This Act may be called the Arthapalisa, Jenmibhogam and Karathilchilavu (Abolition) Act, 2007.

(2) It extends to that portion of the territory of the State of Kerala which, before the 1st day of July, 1949, was comprised in the State of Travancore.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.
