Section 8: Executive Committee

The Council shall have an Executive Committee consisting of the following members, namely:— : (i) Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, who shall be the Chairperson;

(ii) Secretary, Ayush Department, who shall be the Vice-Chairperson;

(iii) Director of Health Services;

(iv). Director of Medical Education:

(v) Director of Indian Systems of Medicine;

(vi) Director of Homoeopathy Department;

(vii) Director of Public Health Laboratory;

(viii) one representative of the welfare organisation of patients, nominated by the Government; and

(ix) Secretary of the Council, who shall be the Convenor.
