Section 19: Claims to be made to the Commissioner

The Commonwealth Trust, Kozhikode (Acquistion and Transfer of Undertaking) Act, 2012State Act of Kerala · Act 1 of 2018

Every person having a claim against the owner of the undertaking or the properties sold shall prefer such claim before the Commissioner within thirty days from the date of appointment of the Commissioner or such extended period, as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, specify:

Provided that if the Commissioner is satisfied that the claimant was prevented by sufficient cause from preferring the claim within the said period he may entertain the claim within a further period of thirty days but not thereafter.
