The Contingency Fund Act, 1950 (Act XXXII of 1950), is hereby repealed.

Published in the Gazette Extraordinary dated 31-07-1957.

*1. Vide Amendment act 1 of 1963, the words “a sum of fifty lakhs of rupees” substituted with “a sum of one hundred and fifty lakhs of rupees”.

2. Vide Amendment act 15 of 1972, the words “one hundred and fifty lakhs of rupees” substituted with “three hundred lakhs of rupees”.

3. Vide Amendment act 2 of 1978, the words “three hundred lakhs of rupees” substituted with “five hundred lakhs of rupees”.

4. Vide Amendment act 3 of 1979, the words “five hundred lakhs of rupees” substituted with “eight hundred lakhs of rupees”.

5. Vide Amendment act 18 of 1983, the words “eight hundred lakhs of rupees” substituted with “fifteen crores of rupees”.

6. Vide Amendment act 17 of 1994, the words “fifteen crores of rupees” substituted with “twenty five crores of rupees”.

7. Vide Amendment act 7 of 2005, the words “twenty five crores of rupees” substituted with “one hundred crores of rupees”.
