Section 5: Powers and functions of the Senate and the Syndicate to be exercised by the Vice Chancellor

All or any of the powers and the functions of the Senate and the Syndicate except the power of the Senate to review the action of the Syndicate as provided in sub-section (1) of section 19 of the Gandhiji University Act, 1985 (12 of 1985), may during the interval between the dissolution of the Senate and the Syndicate under section 3 and the reconstitution of the Senate and the Syndicate in pursuance of section 6, be exercised and performed, as far as may be, and to such extent as the Government may determine, by the Vice Chancellor.
