Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being m force, no person who ceases to hold any office by reason of the provisions contained in clause (a) of sub-section (I) of section 4 shall be ent1tled to any compensation for the loss of office:

Provided that nothmg contamed in this sectiOn shall affect the right o( any such person to recover from th~ Gr,mdhasala Saugham moneys reco verable otherwise than by way of such compensation.
