The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, and subject to such conditions as may be specified in the notification, exempt any factory, plantation, establishment or undertaking to which this Act applies from the operation of the provisions of this Act, if in the opinion of the Government, the employees or class of employees in any such factory, plantation, establishment or undertaking are in receipt of benefits superior to the benefits conferred under this Act.
