Section 24: Staff of the authority

The Kerala Irrigation and Water Conervation Rules, 2005State Rules of Kerala · 2003

(1) The Government shall, in consultation with the Chairman of the authority appoint the personal staff of the Chairman as per the following pattern:

(1) Personal Assistant : One

(2) Confidential Assistant : One

(3) Driver : One

(4) Peons : Two

(2) 4[The personal staff of the Chairman may be appointed by deputation from similar categories from any service in the state or on payment of daily wages and other benefits as fixed by the State Government for similar categories. The other officers and staff shall be appointed on deputation basis from similar categories of officers and staff borne on the service of the Irrigation Department of the State Government. The appointment and terms and conditions of the appointment shall be as ordered by the Government from time to time.]
