Section 8: Vacancy to be filled m as early as posslble

When a membPr dre:;, or resrgns as provided m sectiOn 5, or IS subject to any of the drsquahfic.:ation:;, specified m sectiOn 6, or is removed under sub-sectron (1) of section 7 he shall cea5e to be a member of the Board, and any vacancy 5o occurrmg shall be filled m by the Government as early as practicable:

Provided that durmg any such vacancy the remainmg members may act a& if no vacancy has occurred.
