Section 20: Tenants from whom land is resumed to be paid compensatwn for improvements, and solatwm

The Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1963 (No.1 of 1964)State Act of Kerala · Act 1 of 1964

(1) A tenant from whom land is resumed under the provisions of this Act shall be entitled toand

(i) compensation for the improvements belonging to him;

(u) a solatium of an amount equal to one year's rent.

(2) The compensation payable under clause (i) of st,;b-ssction (I) shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of the Kerala Compensation for Tenants Improvements Act, 1958.
