The price payable by the cultivating tenant for the purchase of the right, title and mterest of the landowner and the intermediaries, if any, shall be the aggregate of-

(z) sixteen times the fair rent in respect of the holding or part thereof to which the purchase relates ;

(zi) the value of structures, wells and embankments of a perma· nent nature belonging to the landowner or the intermediaries, if any ;

and

(izi) one-half of the value of timber trees belonging to the land­ owner or the intermediaries, If any.

Explanation.-For the purposes of this sectiOn, where the rent is payable in kind, the money value of the rent shall be computed at the average of the prices of the commodity for the six years Immediately preceding the year of determination of the purchase price, and, in cal­ culatmg the average of the prices, the pnces, if any, published under section 43 may also be taken into account.
