Section 14: Penalty for obstruction of duties

The Kerala Loading and Unloading ( Regulation of Wages and Restriction of Unlawful Practices) Act, 2002State Act of Kerala · Act 10 of 2002

Whoever obstructs any Labour Inspector or Inspector or any other officer appointed under this Act in the discharge of his duties or refuses or wilfully neglects to afford him reasonable facilities for making any entry, inspection, examination or enquiry authorised by or under this Act, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine which shall not be less than one thousand rupees and which may extend to ten thousand rupees or with both.
