The Non-Resident Indians' (Keralites) Commission Act, 2015State Act of Kerala · Act 3 of 2016

( I) Except Secretary appointed from service, every member shall hold office for a period of three years from the date on which he assumes office and shall be eligible for re-appointment for not more than one term.

A casual vacancy caused by reason of death, removal or resignation of any member shall be filled by fresh nomination:

Provided that a person so nominated shall hold office only for the remaining period of the term of the person in whose place such person is nominated.

The members other than the Secretary shall be paid with such allowances or sitting tes for attending the meeting of the Commission, as may be prescribed.
