Section 1: Short title, extent and commencement

The Prevention and Control of Animal Diseases Act, 1967State Act of Kerala · Act 4 of 1967

(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Prevention and Control of Animal Diseases Act, 1967.

(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala.

(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different areas and for different provisions of this Act.
