Section 28: Arrest without order or warrant

The Prevention and Control of Animal Diseases Act, 1967State Act of Kerala · Act 4 of 1967

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (5 of 1898), any police officer not below the rank of Sub- Inspector, if requested in writing by the Veterinary Surgeon, may, without an order from a Magistrate and without a warrant, arrest any person who has been concerned in an offence against any of the provisions of this Act relating to infected areas or places or infected animals.
