Every owner or person in charge of, every person importing, and every veterinary practitioner who has been called to treat, an animal which he has reason to believe to be infected with a Scheduled disease shall forthwith report the fact to the Inspector having jurisdiction in the area.
8. Powers of Veterinary Surgeo11s to hold post-mortem exmntnation. Subject to such rules as may be made by the Government in this behalf, the Veterinary Surgeon may make, or cau5e to he made, a post-mortem examination of any animal which nt the time of tts death was infective or is suspected to have been then infective, and for this purpose, he may cause the carcass of any such nnimal to be exhumed.
