Section 2B: Authorised Officer

The Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001State Act of Kerala · Act 18 of 2001

(1) The Commissioner of Land Revenue shall be the authorised officer to exercise overall supervision of the implementation of the provisions of this Act and he shall be assisted by an officer not below the rank of Joint Land Revenue Commissioner entrusted by the Government for the purpose.

(2) All officers to act under the provisions of this Act shall be bound to comply with the directions given by the authorised officer.]
