No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against the Government or a local authority 1[or a company or a corporation] or the appellate authority or the estate officer or any other officer in respect of anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or of any rule or order made thereunder.
