Section 18: Cancellation of permit

Where the competent authority is satisfied that an applicant for a permit issued by it has furn:shcd tncorrect informn• tion or that he has, after the issue of the permit, contravenrd any of tha provisions of this Act or any of the terms and conditions of the permit. It may, without prejudice to any other action ngainst the holder of the pern1it under this Act, by order, cancel the permit:

Provided that no permit shall be caner lied without giving the holder thereof an opportunity to state his case against such cancellation.
