Section 13: Power to summon witnesses, etc

The Kerala Record of Rights Act, 1968State Act of Kerala · Act 26 of 1968

Any officer exercising any power or performing any function under this Act shall for the purposes of this Act have all the powers of a civil court while trying a suit under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, in respect of the following matters, namely:-

(a) summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath;

(b) receiving evidence on affidavit;

(c) any other matter which may be prescribed.
