Section 5: Election of Street Vendors as· the member of Town Vending Committee

Kerala Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Rules, 2018Central Rules · 2014

(1) The local autMrity shall, by a notification published in the · Official Gazett�. express its intention to conduct election of the members of a Town Vending Committee representing the street ve11dors of the area under the jurisdiction of that local authority.

(2) The .local authority concerned shall appoint a returning officer for conducting the election of mem_bers of the Town Vending Committee . representing the street vendor� of the area under its junsdiction.
