Any money paid to the Comm1~sioner wh1ch remams und1sbursed or uncla1med on the date Immediately precedmg the date on which the office of the Commissioncl is finally wound up, shall be transferred by the Commissioner, be-fore his office is finally wound up, to the general.revenue •account of the Government, but a claim to any money· so •transferred may be prefurred to the Government by the person entitled to such payment and shall· be dealt .with as if such t1 ans(cr had not been made, and the order, if any, for payment of the cla1m bemg treated as an orde1· for the refund of revenue. •
