Section 5: Cessation of membership

The Kerala Tailoring Workers Welfare Fund Act 1994State Act of Kerala · Act 16 of 1994

Subject to the provisions of this Act, a tailoring worker shall cease to be a member when he is not engaged in tailoring or embroidery work for not less than two years:

Provided that if the Chief Executive Officer is convinced on an application made by the tailoring worker within such time and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed that a member could not engage himself in tailoring and embroidery work for sufficient reasons, his membership shall be restored.
