Section 18: Research Council

The Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayala University Act, 2013State Act of Kerala · Act 24 of 2013

(1) The University shall have a Research Council which shall be responsible for deciding on the research programmes and policy of the University under the various disciplines and shall consider and approve with or without modifications the research proposals leading to the award of Ph.D or applied Research Projects in order to make them meaningful.

(2) Apart from considering and approving the research proposals presented before it, the Research Council may also suggest and advice to take up research on specific areas.
