Section 12: The Deans

The number of Deans shall be determined by the Board of Governors.

Every Dean shall be appointed by the Board of Governors from the Professors based on seniority for a maximum period of three years. A person who completes his tenure as Dean may be re-appointed as Dean only if all other Professors of the University had occupied the position already and/or the Board of Governors had taken a decision on re-appointment in an exceptional case. Under no circumstance, a person shall be appointed as a Dean for more than two terms of three years each.
