Section 35: The Research Council

The Kerala University of Health Sciences Act 2010State Act of Kerala · Act 4 of 2011

(1) There shall be a Research Council consisting of the Vice- Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Heads of the University Departments and Directors or eminent scientists from the Research Institutes within or outside Kerala. The members of the Research Council shall be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor in consultation with the Governing Council.

(2) There shall be a Director of Research, appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the Convenor of the Research Council.

(3) The duties of the Research Council shall be as provided in the Statutes.

(4) The term of the Research Council shall be three years or as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
