Section 47A: New premises not to be erected without drains

The Kerala Water Supply and Sewerage Act, 1986State Act of Kerala · Act 14 of 1986

(1) In area where sewers of the Authority are available within a distance of fifty meters it shall not be lawful to construct or reconstruct any building or other structure unless a drains is constructed of such size, materials, and descriptions at such level and with such fall as may be provided by regulations.

(2) The drain so constructed shall be connected with the sewer of the Authority in such manner and subject to such terms and conditions and payment of such fees as may be provided by regulations.
