(1) All paymo~nts other than paymen relating to salaties, wages and allowances by or on behalf of the Commission shall be made by cheques drawn again t the current/savings accounts of the Commission; payment in respect of individual claims not exceeding Rs. 5,000 rna however be made in cash.
(2) \ All payments relating to salaries, wages and allowances to the employees of the Colllll1ission shall ordinarily be made thropgh the Bank Account of the employees or by cheques drawn against the current or $1vings accowots of the Commission. i
(3) : All cheques drawn against the current/savings accounts of the Commission (i.e. 'Khadi Fund', 'Village Industries Fufd' and "General and Miscellaneous Fund" account) and all orders for making investment or for the WJithdrawal of the same '"f for the disposal in any other manner of the funds of the Commission shall :
(a) ' be signed by the Director (Accounts) or any other Officer as may be nominated by the Financial Adviser from time to time l;y an order in writing when the value of the cheque drawn does not exceed Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees one lakh only);
(b) signed joint!)' hy the Chief Executive Officer or any other Officer not below the rank of a Director (other than the Direr n• of Audit) nominated by t~e Chief Executive Officer and the Financial Adviser or "ny other Account Officer, nominated l>y the FinanCial Adviser when the value of the chequd exceeds Rs. 1 ,00,000 (Rupeesone lakh only),
(4) Placing of moneys belonging to the Commission in fixed deposits and their investment or disposal in any other manner~hall require approval of the Commission.
